Colorful Floral Block Prints
Creative Process:
I actively draw in my sketch book to keep building fresh ideas for new pieces. Once I have my final drawing for a new image, I transfer this sketch to a lino block and begin carving. Each color requires a separate block and they are layered one over the other to create the final image. All original work is printed by hand and greeting cards are created from originals but digitally printed. Recently, I've started sending digital versions to spoonflower to make fabric reproductions in the form of kitchen towels and tapestries.
