George Jennings

Your medium:

Painting

Four words to describe your work:

Contemporary portraits and designs

Creative Process:

African American artist who moved from hometown of Washington, DC to Seattle, Washington to find my place in the thriving art community. I was initially introduced to fine art by my first art teacher, my grandfather, John N. Robinson and later attended the Duke Ellington School of Art in high school and continued to practice my craft through self-teaching as an adult. As far as my process, I start with a live model or a photograph for either my traditional or digital works and then figure out a design through sketches or images in my head.
