Creative Process:
I've worked with mehndi for years; the Indian and Moroccan designs are what most inspire me. My artistic process begins by scrolling my designs into sheet metal, at which point I cut, file, and sand those pieces into a three dimensional forms. The forms are then molded and cast. These pieces become the key elements I play off of to create my work. Each piece is fabricated and small components may be added to enhance the jewelry.
