Putts Out takes place one night only on: Tuesday August 7th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm as part of the National Night Out Against Crime block party. It's free, kid friendly, and open to everyone.
Applicants will be selected to create an original mini golf hole in the 800 block of South Thistle St. using the grass parking strips.
This will be our 9th year of Putts Out! If you have not attended before please visit our Putts Out Projects Page here or check past events on our Facebook page here to get inspired by past hole makers.
You or your group may apply for funding of up to $100 to help compensate for supplies and time. You will need to provide a W-9 form, link below.
We will provide putters, golf balls, score cards, pencils and a hole digger (if needed.)
All hole builders need to have courses set and ready to play by 5:30pm sharp on Tuesday August 7th and are responsible for the complete removal of your hole from the area after 8:30pm on the same day.
By participating, you give South Park Arts permission to use photos of your mini golf hole on our website or future publications.
You will be assigned an address on the 800 block of Thistle to set your hole in front of. Please check in with coordinators before unpacking and setting up if you don't know what address you're assigned. If you have an address preference, please include it on the application.
Think grand and imaginative but also remember: it's a one night event! The most important consideration is to have fun with your idea and make sure you can execute it without stress!
Applications are due July 10th
You will receive confirmation of your participation by July 16th.
