Creative Process:
I'm an interior designer by day, so I'm always drawn to interesting shapes and architecture. When my husband and I moved in together we found ourselves trying to combine our style as a couple.
I used my knowledge in 3D programs to make prototypes of simple home decor objects that blended both of our styles.
The ones we both kept agreeing on were simple geometric shapes.
Once we decide on a design we both like, we make multiple molds until we have perfected a smooth, workable mold that we're able to cast our concrete mixture into.
We use a unique blend of concrete, pigment and marble dust to achieve a super smooth finish that's luxurious to the touch.
