Four words to describe your work:
Eclectic playful spontaneous unexpected
I’m a bit of a polyglot. I love abstraction, yet keep up with my figurative and portrait work. I use traditional materials and explore using experimental media found in graffiti. I also like using industrial marking tools. I am fascinated by the tactile process of painting and drawing; the buttery feel of oil paint in a brushstroke, the scratching sound of charcoal while drawing a figure on paper, and the near magical emerging of an image from abstract marks. I work quickly, with multiple layers, and in series. Often I have multiple pieces going simultaneously.
