South Park Putts Out Soon!
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010This lovely, little neighborhood block is about to be transformed. Next Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:30, the 800 block of S. Thistle St. will turn into a mini-golf course. See those green parking strips on either side of the street? That’s where 9 holes of putt putt will be, each hole designed by a South Park or Seattle artist!
And it’s not just putt putt. It’s live music (we’re talking theĀ Brian Marshall Band!) and FREE food! Come celebrate Night Out Against Crime with your favorite South Park Peeps. See you in less than a week, yes?
Seeking artists to build mini-golf holes in South Park!

Have you always wanted to play MINI-GOLF in South Park? We know we have!
South Park Arts is sponsoring a mini-golf course for “Night Out“. Mark your calender for the evening of Tuesday August 3 for our first annual “South Park Putts Out”.
Nine talented artists, designers, builders, or teams will create this course, and YOU might be one of those people. If you are interested in conjuring up a hole, please print the attached form, fill it out, make a sketch, and send it in! We don’t have much time, so the deadline is only a couple weeks away — June 30, 2010. Download the South Park Putts Out application here. Return it to Jen Nye at jen [at] southparkarts.org or mail it to the address in the application — it must be received by June 30!
