SPTEEEEEE2Christopher Gay has a fantastic design for this year’s South Park t-shirt and tote bag, which will be available at the fifth annual Art Under $100 (December 5, 2009 from 4-10pm at the Old Firehouse). There will be a variety of colors and sizes of t-shirts, so you will be able to find one for every one of your holiday gift-recipients (young and old). The t-shirts and onesies will be $15 and the tote bags will be $5.

This is just a couple weeks away. Please come out and join us for dance and music. We don’t get treated to cultural events like this all that often. Don’t miss this. And if anyone wants to play dress up (not that dressy, silly) and be a greeter with me, shoot me an email at jen@southparkarts.org

UPDATE: THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED FOR 2009! PLEASE WATCH THE SITE FOR NEXT YEAR’S CALL.

Its that time again to SHOUT OUT TO ARTISTS for the Art Under 100 2009 which will take place from 4-10pm on Saturday, December 5 at the old firehouse in South Park.  Are you in?  If so, print it out the artist intake form (or copy down the info), and send your info + fee + image in to reserve your space by September 23, 2009 [WE ARE FULL!].

A few things you must know as an artist – it is a TOTALLY volunteer driven event, so we will need your help in a few ways:

Distribute posters and postcards to local spots.
Set up and take down of the show on the day of the event.
Recruit a volunteer to help with one of the shifts on the day of the event.

The t-shirts for Crank It Up are here! For only $15 you can sport one of these bad boys.

We’ll see you in the t-shirt line on Saturday.

Thanks for making 2009 Art Under $100 great!

Art Under $100 2009

Art Under $100 was super fun this year. When we weren’t busy serving booze, selling our amazing art, and greeting neighbors, we were definitely busy snapping up awesome works from talented artists. Thanks so much to everyone who volunteered, bought, sold, and partied with us!

Jacqueline Koch took great photos of the event, which we’ve posted on the 2009 Art Under $100 page!
