South Park Putts Out flyers and posters ready!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

South Park Putts Out is happening on Tuesday and we’ve finally got some posters and flyers ready for you to print out and show off to your pals!

Download ‘em here:
South Park Putts Out Poster (11×17 PDF)
South Park Putts Out 1/4 size flyer (8 1/2×11 PDF, cut into four fliers)

South Park Putts Out is a mini-golf course for “Night Out“ sponsored by SPArts. Mark your calender for the evening of Tuesday August 3 for our first annual golf event! Nine talented artists teams have come up with original hole designs for everyone to enjoy and there will be music and food — the Brian Marshall Band will be there to rock your socks. We can’t wait to see everyone out there putting away!

South Park Putts Out Soon!

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

This lovely, little neighborhood block is about to be transformed. Next Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:30, the 800 block of S. Thistle St. will turn into a mini-golf course. See those green parking strips on either side of the street? That’s where 9 holes of putt putt will be, each hole designed by a South Park or Seattle artist!

And it’s not just putt putt. It’s live music (we’re talking the Brian Marshall Band!) and FREE food! Come celebrate Night Out Against Crime with your favorite South Park Peeps. See you in less than a week, yes?

The murals on the bridge are up on the web

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

Thank you to our wonderful muralists — Chris Kent, Sneke One, Gina Tolentino, Kenji Fulmer, and Elisa Renouard! They made the bridge wake an amazing event and turned the bridge into a beautiful new backdrop for the community. Thanks to 4Culture and ECOSS for their support.

Check out the mural project page to see the finished project!
