The Fourth Annual “Art Under $100” Sale takes place on Saturday, December 6 in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood. South Park is not just a cartoon or a gritty industrial neighborhood– South Park is where artists live and art gets made.
South Park artists will knock your socks off with original, edgy works not seen at a typical holiday sale. What’s more, everything is affordable, with nothing priced over $100. The event will showcase a diverse array of art including painting, sculpture, neon, jewelry, clothing, photography, glass, letterpress, and more.
Local musicians Mark Johnson (Amateur Radio Operator) and Kevin Suggs (Evangeline, Amateur Radio Operator, KEXP) will sculpt an ever-changing atmospheric sound-scape throughout the event. Sip wine, feast on appetizers, and actually enjoy holiday shopping.
A mysterious masked bugle boy will blow his horn every half hour to announce art raffles donated by the participating artists. Raffle tickets will be available for $2 each or 3 for $5. The earlier you buy yours, the more chances you’ll have to win.
All proceeds benefit South Park Arts, an organization dedicated to supporting, representing, and promoting art and artists in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood.

Michelle Smith-Lewis at Twilight Artist Collective
Monday, October 13th, 2008It’s that time again…
This Thursday, October 9th at Twilight Artist Collective in West Seattle I’ll be sharing the gallery space with Debbie Bianchi.
Come join the us for the West Seattle Art Walk from 6:00-9:00pm. There’s plenty of art, wine and cupcakes! This is the beginning of a new series of images and will be my first time showing them. This is a wonderful place to see local art and a good time to get a jump on your Holiday shopping!
Twilight Artist Collective is located in the Junction at 4306 SW Alaska St. (behind Easy Street Records)
You can also see my work work at Essential Bakery in Madison Valley from October 13th thru Nov 8th.
Again, thanks for all your support and I hope to see you at Twilight!
