I come from a smaller city in which I was raised as a latch key kid. I think this caused me to develop an over-active imagination which has in turn become my resource for Art. I like to create things that I like, images that I want to see come to fruition. Some of them are a little spooky, slightly sinister but all with a whimsical touch. I have very little formal education in the arts, I’ve learned mostly from practice and observation. I enjoy painting as an outlet for my perpetual imagination. My paintings have become an extension of myself. I love art and creating it because it is one medium of communication that can transcend language and time. I think for any culture, people or person, you can gain the greatest insight by examining their artistic productions.
