Moving around constantly as a child on through my late twenties, I would take pictures of everything. I think it was an attempt to avoid forgetting a single person or a single moment that had made up my life until that very point. I knew that no matter what state or country I was in, I could open a book of my photos and find home. It was through photography that old homes were cherished and new homes were made my own. As I captured the details of a new town through my photography, I knew that this place would eventually belong to me and I would be able to call it my home.

As I grew older I found photography to be a way of documenting my adventures and the excitement I felt as I explored more new areas and met new people. Photography also served to remind me of my travels as I attempted to find home for good. Since moving to South Park in 2005, I feel like I have found a place to call my own. While my home is now staying the same, the inspiration I draw from it is ever changing. I hope that as you look through my work, you too have the same feelings of warmth, change and excitement I have found with every photo taken.
