Janet Utterback-Peck welcomes all ages and levels to her violin studio in Seattle Washington. Emphasis is placed on enjoyment however regular practice and improvement are expected. Music (primarily from the standard literature) and exercises are selected based on the needs and goals of each individual. After a few lessons, beginning students can expect to play a few songs with good technique. More experienced players should hear improved tone and accuracy of notes. Other music skills such as note-reading, ear-training, etc. will naturally be included. All students will have the opportunity to perform.

Janet performs in The Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, Bellevue Philharmonic Symphony, NW Sinfonietta and the local band Poland:
