Elizabeth Knopf
Painting, crafting, constructing, sewing, gardening….. Elizabeth Knopf is always scheming and imagining some kind of project. Her studio is her houseboat in South Park, where she works and daydreams, feeling the freedom of a simple life and the joy of time to spend creating. A born and raised northwesterner, Elizabeth has been experimenting with and fascinated by Art for as long as she can remember. She is a graduate of the Evergreen State College, where she studied Art and Culture, and explored themes in Functional and Recycled Art. An avid gardener and environmentalist she is inspired by the natural world and the contrast of the industry that surrounds her neighborhood, and the waste left behind by our consumer based culture.
