Aaron Cone

Aaron is a Seattle native and for the past six years has enjoyed living in the amazing (don’t tell anyone or it really will become the next Fremont) neighborhood of South Park. In the early nineties he attended Cornish College of the Arts as well as The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. For the past eight years he has worked as an antiquities dealer specializing in Estate Sales. Over the years he has gained an appreciation of Northwest Modern Art. He has currently been working on a series of found metal ribbon sculptures that he likes to refer to as “Desk Sculptures”. The metal was found on the side of the road on Airport Way adjacent to the Boeing air field this past summer. The sculptures are small in size, between 4.5 inches to 9 inches in length, twisted by hand, and painted with forgotten house paint. They can be placed anywhere in the home or office for your enjoyment.
